Trinity Lutheran Church Preschool

Mission StatementTrinity Lutheran Preschool is a ministry to families. We teach that Jesus Christ is central to pre-learning. Our purpose is to have caring interaction among students and between students and teachers, that prepare children for a lifetime of learning.

Our Preschool is. . .

	a spiritual environment (Chapel is M-W-F at 9:00 am)
	committed to Christian education
	an extension of the mission and ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church
	an outreach to the younger children of our community
	a place where God's Word is central to the development of faith and life of each child

Our Preschool's Goals

	Growing in understanding of God and His care;
	Developing a positive self-image
	Building relationships with others
	Learning and developing an an appreciation for art, music, poems, and books
	Learning by doing, observing, and experimenting

We Teach . . .

	by using a Christian curriculum
	religion around letters, numbers, colors, and shapes
	using pasting, gluing, tracing, dot-to-dot, coloring, beads, painting and games to teach motor skills
	by practicing matching, go-togethers, sequencing, and picture sound matches
	by using learning centers
	ongoing skills such as listening, following directions, and manners

Accreditation

	licensed by Texas Department of Human Services
	Regulated by Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services Child Care Licensing Division
	Preschool meets all the requirements in Minimum standards Manual and is inspected regularly

Information and RequirementsPreschool hours are 8 am - 12:00 noon.

In order for your child to be eligible to attend Trinity Lutheran Preschool, you must pick up and return the Information packet provided by the school before the Spring deadline (this will be posted soon). Our Preschool admits students of any race, color, and ethnic background, and gives each child equal privileges through the administration of its educational, admission, and scholarship policies.
