Retired State Trooper Gary Pflughaupt will come to the center on Thursday, September 17th at 10:15 am to talk to the children about the importance of safety. He will also talk to the children about the importance of seat belt safety and why car seats are very important. It is important that children know what to do during an emergency, especially if an adult is not present. Children need to know how to call 911, and on the other hand, they need to know that they should NOT call 911 unless there is an emergency.
